By Noel Ihebuzor
When we love, we roll
wrap and reap, when love goes, we
rip, rant and regret
When we love, the sun shines
cool calm blue, humming magic
hearts glow, beings vibrate
When love goes, glow fades
blues come, gloom sings, hurting hearts
pull back, pain throbbing
Noel–I love these–love the alliteration, the tightness, the exploration… Even the painful here is beautiful in the telling.
