The health section has no mention whatsoever of MMR & I/CMR, key scourges in our health delivery system – this is a major gap! Close it!

State Police Forces? where? why? and How? Do the dangers not outweigh any advantages?
Bullet 3 under social welfare – recognize improvements as a result of developments in e-banking.
Section on social welfare needs more rigor. Reads like something hastily slapped together.
A bullet on the role of PHC and preventive strategies would have improved the worth of this section!
Document is silent on the roles of CHEWs and VHWs in effective delivery of medical services. Why?
Double physicians? How many years does it take to produce one doctor? in what year can this doubling be attained? woolly!
Double the number of physicians and health care professionals! Hian! Time frame? what strategies? – external sourcing + internal training?
Health care – bullet 3 – more appropriate incentives and structures would be needed!
Agriculture – for credibility, show how what is proposed is new and adds value!
Nothing on the geographical spread and mobility of teachers? This is a sine qua non for a more equitable educational development!
Stipends to education graduates prior to their employment as teachers? For real? In all states? at all levels? This is fuzzy!
The section on education is silent on the key issue of spatial disparities in educational access, retention, completion & quality! Why?
Bullet 7 – reads well. Eye catching and voter pleasing but the devil is in the detail.
Corruption – bullets 1-4 – nothing to add. Charity begins at home and the brooms should start sweeping from within!
Last bullet on women – reads more like a last minute token gesture to “gender “!
Technology transfer and Appropriate Technology for job creation – great idea!
PW schemes to re-stake the economy? Moderate dis noble impulse with a recognition of the need for rational PPP & Private sector led growth!
Embark on TVE retraining & skills acquisition? This is already on-going. Recognize current efforts & build on these. No need for tabula rasa
@ajjolley the justifications are the weakest – sch meals are justified by reference to effects on short term hunger, attention &retention
Providing matching funds for business – woolly, needs sharpening!
School meals for all primary school pupils – great idea but keep an eye on costs, perverse incentives and unplanned effects.
“Allowee” for unemployed NYSC graduates for another 12 months amounts to extending duration of NYSC effectively to 24 months!
Establishing Tech/industrial estates to attract SSEs. Time frame? How many?
How does a N5,000 CCT to the 25 million poorest promote job empowerment? What is the unit of analysis for targeting? Good to specify !
Create 20,000 jobs per state immediately for sec school cert & who participate in TVE? Be specific on time frame. Beneficiaries are fuzzy!
